Myles Foreman - Chief Executive Officer & Company Secretary

Myles joined RISA in June 2006 in the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer after ten years with Ticketmaster. He commenced work with Ticketmaster as Operations Manager also holding the roles of Chief Information Officer, General Manager - ticketmaster.com.au with his last role that of Head of Markets and Development for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining Ticketmaster, Myles spent seven years with Rydges Hotels & Resorts including time as General Manager Information Systems for the Group.

David Connell - Finance Manager

David joined RISA in October 2006 after three and half years as Financial Accountant for Racing Victoria Limited (RVL). Prior to joining RVL, David was Group Accountant for SMS Management & Technology Group from 1994 - 2002. From 1990 - 1994 David was Financial Accountant for Mercy Hospital for Women. Prior to that David held a range Finance roles. David is a CPA.

Mark Davis – Team Leader - Value Added Services & Form Content

Mark commenced work with the Racing Services Bureau (RSB) a department of Racing Victoria Limited (RVL) in August 2000, after the completion of his studies in Accounting & Banking/Finance. Mark was soon appointed ‘Australian Race Results co-ordinator’ in 2002, responsible for maintaining the Integrity and Accuracy of all racing data/materials on behalf of the Australian Thoroughbred Racing Industry. Since this time Mark has successfully liaised with International authorities the exchange of form/data for upcoming major carnivals and most recently streamlined the timeliness of receiving Australian Race Results in ‘Real Time’ thereby establishing RISA as the portal of Thoroughbred Racing Information. Mark was appointed head of the Value Added Services Team in 2007 which amongst many tasks involves providing detailed ‘Form Comments’ to a range of clients.

Adrian Duncan – Team Leader RISA Service Centre

Adrian commenced employment with the Australian Trainer’s Association (ATA) in July 1996, working in the Race Secretary Service area of the ATA and in 1999 was appointed Manager of the Race Secretary Service. In July 2000 the functions of the ATA Race Secretary Service were transitioned to Racing Victoria Limited (RVL) and consolidated into the newly formed Trainer’s Service Centre. In 2003 RISA purchased the Trainer’s Service Centre. Since 2006 Adrian has been Team Leader of the RISA Service Centre. Adrian is responsible for the management of collation, distribution and processing of all Race Field racing materials for all States and Territories of Australia (Excluding WA). Adrian is also responsible Customer Service, StableAssist and RISAConnect.

Anne-Marie Hunt - Team Leader Owner Services (Registrar of Racehorses)

Anne-Marie joined RISA in March 2007 and became Team Leader in early 2008. Anne-Marie has acquired a broad range of experience in the racing and wagering industries in a wide variety of roles. Since starting out as a racing photographer in the late 1980s, Anne-Marie was employed by the Australian Stud Book for six years and more recently was employed by TAB for five years in the Wagering and Corporate Divisions. In between these two roles, Anne-Marie took time off to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Japanese and Linguistics. Anne-Marie is responsible for overseeing the registration and naming of some 14,000-15,000 thoroughbred racehorses each year in Australia including imported horses. Anne-Marie is also heavily involved in the management of the ANZ Queensland Owners Card.

Gary Quinn – Team Leader - Industry Services

Gary has over 25 years experience in horse racing administration. He joined the Australian Trainer’s Association (ATA) in 1982 progressing to State Executive Officer (Victorian Branch). Gary transferred to the Racing Services Bureau (RSB) in September 1986 which at that time was part of the Victoria Racing Club (VRC), prior to RSB becoming part of the newly formed Racing Victoria Limited in 2000 and the subsequent purchase of RSB by RISA in 2003. From 1991 Gary was Office Manager for RSB before moving into the role of Administration and Racebook Manager in 2003. In these various roles Gary has been involved in the production and proofing of racebooks Australia wide (approximately 750 per annum) for a number of years. He has also worked at all the Melbourne Metropolitan racetracks for over 10 years as Clerk of Scales. Currently occupying the position of Team Leader RISA Industry Services Gary is responsible for racebook production and proofing, RISAForm, special projects and liaising with industry participants.

Michael Shelton – Team Leader – Technology Services

Michael commenced with RISA in July 2006 as System Administrator/Database Administrator, becoming Team Leader later that year. Michael comes from a Computing and Mathematics background and has extensive experience in a number of IT environments in industry and education. The IT team at RISA assumed control and management of the Integrated Racing Information System (IRIS) transitioning the computer system to a new independent location. The team deals with the day to day requirements for racing materials to the industry, media and general public. The team also modifies the IRIS software, as required, to meet changing industry needs. Michael is responsible for ensuring IRIS is available 24 hours a day 7days a week along with maintaining RISA IT infrastructure.
